Stephen Snell is an experienced systems engineer with a Masters Degree, currently working as a full-time MCSE technical instructor at New Horizons San Diego.  He has been working with computers for over 20 years and his exposure ranges from MS DOS to Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP and Exchange.  Steve has been an MCT trainer for 7 years, having taught the MCSE track for 3 Microsoft platforms:  Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003.

His hands-on experience includes Windows / Exchange consulting for local San Diego firms, as well as having built several MCSE Programs and Labs from the ground up for various colleges and training institutions, including providing support in the installation of the network, computers and other hardware for the classroom, rolling out Active Directory in single and multiple domain models, as well as having migrated NT 4.0 domains to multiple independent Windows 2000 Active Directory forests on numerous occasions.

Steve has served internationally as a networking consultant and trainer for SPAWAR Intec Training, and locally for such Southern California and San Diego companies as Intelligent Automation Corporation, SAIC, InSynergy Consulting Group, QuickStart Intelligence, Vortex Data Systems, and Bluestar Learning.  In an effort to support the military in its general rollout of Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 world wide, he has conducted specialized training for the US Marines, Camp Foster Marine Corps Base, Okinawa, Japan, the US Air Force 374th Communications Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan, and the US Coast Guard, Coast Guard Training Center (TRACEN), Petaluma, CA.  Steve has been associated with New Horizons San Diego for over 3 years, where he started as a contract trainer in 2004 and later joined as a permanent member of the NHSD Instructor Team in 2006.  He specializes in the MCSE track, A+ and vendor-neutral security courses such as Security+ and Certified Ethical Hacker.
